INTRODUCTION TO WRITING

Online Writing Class

8pm - 10pm EST Wednesdays

6 weeks starting September 7, 2022

Welcome to Passion Project’s introduction to writing online class. Over these six weeks, students will learn about many of the key elements and foundational blocks of storytelling, including point of view, character, setting and more.

Each week, students will have the opportunity to practise what they learn, as well as share their work and receive feedback in class, building on their writing, week to week. This program will also prepare students for the next series of classes, where they will have a chance to further develop their storytelling skills and book development.

As part of the six-week package, students will also get to meet a guest author, and will have the opportunity to submit a piece of writing to their instructor and receive feedback in a 1:1 coaching call.

Sign up to join the next Introduction to Writing pod, starting September 7, for just $300 and enjoy weekly writing circles where you will have a chance to:

I knew I wanted to write a book but didn’t know where to start. Cat helped me take a pile of seemingly random stories and mould them into a cohesive and sensible whole that’s now a bestselling book. She’s awesome at teasing out the key points of your story. She’s also amazing at helping you bring scenes to life so that your reader feels like they are seeing it unfold. My book is 1000 times better because of Cat’s guidance and expertise as a writer and editor. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been recommending her to anyone who asks.
I loved the atmosphere and the open and safe energy Cat created in her workshop.
This retreat was amazing I loved that we could get very clear on our own books and inspired by others peoples books.
I loved Cat’s energy and she has the greatest laugh. I’m not sure anyone has ever called me shy… but sharing an idea like this is a vulnerable thing to do and Cat made it easy! Thanks for all your help.
