Cat chats with Southbrook Winery's Bill Redelmeier and Casey Hogan about the joys and challenges of biodynamic wine making and farming.

Southbrook proprietor Bill Redelmeier has committed himself to guiding Southbrook on its new path, emphasizing environmental leadership and quality customer experience. Bill is the winery’s industry liaison, new product developer and Chief Storyteller. He shares a deep pride in what Southbrook is and where it has come from, and is dedicated to what Southbrook can become.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Southbrook’s winemaker Casey Hogan developed a passion for wine early in life. After completing a sommelier accreditation, he shifted his focus to achieving a Bachelor of Science in Oenology and Viticulture at Brock University. Since then, Casey has worked with wineries in Margaret River, Central Otago, Willamette Valley, the Okanagan Valley, and Niagara. In 2019, Casey moved back to Ontario to become the winemaker at international award-winning winery, Southbrook Vineyards.
